What this site is
melaning.com is currently one page describing a directory of businesses across Africa and the diaspora that has not launched, and a form for joining the list of people who want to know when it does. You cannot search businesses, contact them, or list your own here. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
Early access is an intention, not a promise
We mean to launch in 2027 and to give this list access first. We may change the date, change what early access includes, limit who gets it, or not launch at all. Being on the list does not entitle you to access, to a price, or to a listing in the directory.
Using the site
You must be at least 16. The email address you give should be yours, and the details should be real. Please do not submit the form in bulk or automatically, try to break into anything, or copy the page's design or content as your own.
What belongs to us
The Melaning name, logo, design and written content are ours or licensed to us. You are welcome to read the page, link to it and share the link. The city photographs and figures on the page illustrate what the directory will hold. A business shown there has not necessarily endorsed Melaning.
No guarantees
We work to keep the page accurate and available, but we offer it as it is. We do not promise it will always be up, error free, or that the figures on it are complete. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be heard in the courts of Los Angeles County. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, this does not take away the protection of your local consumer law. We may update these terms as launch approaches; the date at the top shows when they last changed. The directory will have its own terms when it opens.
